Scheduled
The Ethereum blockchain is expected to undergo a scheduled hard fork known as Ethereum Constantinople on Friday 1 March. For at least one hour surrounding the update, CoinJar will be unable to send or receive Ethereum payments.

Unlike some hard forks in the past, this blockchain event is not contentious and is not expected to create any new tokens. However if you wish to control your funds during this event, we encourage you to withdraw any Ether you hold in your CoinJar to a privately hosted wallet. Otherwise, your Ether is safe with CoinJar during this update and no further action is required.

The precise time of the hard fork will vary depending on block times leading up to block 7,280,000.

If you have any questions, please email Support (support@coinjar.com).
