Investigating - Multiple customers are reporting they have not yet received their Swipe orders from a particular period in December. EML Payments Limited - CoinJar's Swipe card provider - previously advised their manufacturing process suffered inventory processing issues during this period, which would result in delays for card orders. We're investigating this further to determine why those cards still have not yet been delivered.

Thank you for your ongoing patience as we work with EML to resolve this issue.

Monitoring - Some customers are reporting their bitcoin payments are remaining as 'Pending' for extended periods of time - particularly incoming transfers.

The average confirmation time for bitcoin transactions is currently longer than usual, causing some transfers to be delayed. Until this congestion has cleared, please expect slower times for bitcoin transactions, as they will not be receiving confirmations on the blockchain as quickly as usual.
Most exchanges will typically require up to 6 confirmations to be received in order to approve incoming payments, depending on the amount being sent.

Off-chain/internal transfers (for example, from one CoinJar to another via CoinJar username) are not affected. Bank transfers and bitcoin/Australian dollar conversions are not affected by blockchain delays.

Identified - EML Payments Limited - CoinJar's Swipe card provider - has advised their manufacturing process has recently suffered inventory processing issues, which has resulted in delays for all new card orders. Swipe card orders placed between December 6 - December 22 are now expected to arrive some time in mid-to-late January 2018 at the earliest.

Unfortunately, CoinJar is unable to provide any expedited orders during this time - we're having to wait for these manufacturing issues to be resolved. We apologise for the additional wait time while new card orders are being processed. Thank you for your ongoing patience as EML works to send out all orders as soon as possible.

Identified - Due to unscheduled downtime, transfers to Swipe cards will not be possible for the next several hours. This temporary downtime is expected to be resolved before the close of business 8/2/18 at the latest. All updates will be provided within this post as we receive them.

Existing balances on Swipe cards are able to be used, however new transfers to Swipe will remain as 'pending' until further notice. Thank you for your patience during this period.
