Over the past 48 hours, a core component in CoinJar's exchange setup has experienced intermittent issues communicating with other internal systems. This downtime has resulted in some key features of CoinJar's exchange and bitcoin services becoming unresponsive - leading to delays in bitcoin payment processing, as well as periods of inactivity for CoinJar's exchange rates.
Our Engineering Team has been able to quickly isolate the leading cause of these system issues, and has now updated CoinJar's existing setup to minimise the chances of future downtime for these reasons.
